New iPhone To Be Revealed On June 22, 2010?

If history plays any role, Apple will release a new iPhone this June/July 2010. Since 2007, a new iPhone has been released every year within the same June/July time frame and we now expect the same time frame for 2010.

With rumors already posting an iPhone for a June 22, 2010 release, that time frame lines up nicely for Apple’s annual WWDC event. In the last two years, Apple has released the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS at WWDC and the annual summer event is now Apple’s only remaining trade show.

Reports indicate that Apple has booked off June 22nd at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and may use it for its WWDC keynote. Apple typically holds its WWDC event at the Moscone Center West.

Apple has already announced that the iPhone OS 4.0 will be available this summer, so we could very well see a new iPhone and the full release of OS 4.0 by June 22, 2010.
