anybody have an update as of August 2011? I am an existing customer that is signing up for a 1GB plan. Are they going to charge me outrageous tethering fees?

Of interest: “Effective immediately, tethering will continue to be included at no additional charge for Rogers customers who subscribe to a data plan of 1 GB and above”

Hi,
What is the latest on tethering? I signed up for an iPhone plan with data in August/2008. I have 6GB
data plan. If I use my iphone for tethering will be charged an extra amount even though I dont exceed
my 6GB allowed data?

So, if I sign up for a 6GB data plan right now, I can only tether free till the end of the year? That really sucks, I could get used to tethering when I'm out, but I suppose the iPhone is a little computer in itself anyway.
