I love my iPhone 3G. But out of curiousity I called up Rogers and they allowed me a HUP (early at that). I was on the phone for about 10-12 mins. Getting a Magic and I’ll see what’s up. I still would like the new iPhone. Maybe I’ll get that on my other line. I know I’ll keep my 3G and will have the Magic as well

I was in Costco and the cell counter was dead. The girl opened the Android phone and we stuck in my sim and tried it for over half an hour. Fantastic phone.

Rogers has a deal with a free Internet stick with a new smartphone on a 3-year contract. Costco has a deal of $100 credit on a 3-year contract. So I can get a Dream and internet stick on the 6g plan for $50 and close to use the iPhone or Android.

I bought one (HTC Dream) to replace my iPhone but immediately returned it when I realized the Rogers version disables the virtual keyboard and most of the accelerometer functions.

To the question about switching SIMs back and forth. I don’t know why but I could not have an iPhone data package on the Dream, they switched me to the WinMobile Data package (exact same package) and switched me back when I returned it.
