Great news… But not not available in Montreal because Videotron took all frequencies here…

Looking at what we got with cable Internet, I'm not sure if videotron really wants to compete with bell telus or Rogers.

Hey there, so about this October 23rd approval date….. I work security at a mall in Hamilton, ON… And WINDobile had placed an ad for employees in our mall employment listings… So of they have already purchased a lease agreement with the mall and are actively pursuing employment for their store than that leads one to believe that they already got the A.OK!

WRONG.

you will not be able to use your iPhone on Wind mobile. They are deploying a UMTS network on the 1700Mhz band which is different from Rogers. I believe this is the same frequency TMobile uses in the US. There’s a great network FAQ here: http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1572042

I thought Globalive had said the current iPhone 3g and 3gs were not compatible with their network. I may be wrong.
As for the CRTC ruling – I too want more competition but if Globalive isn't following Canadian laws, then there should be no exceptions.
We will soon find out.
