Does anyone know how much it is to pay out your plan if you ahve only had your phone for one year and you ahve a three year contract?

Unfortuntely yes.
Any voice and data packages are 3 year plans only.

I'm looking at Rogers Voice + Data plans on their website (45 per month). Does this mean to use that plan I MUST sign a 3 year contract?

Wait, does this mean that even after paying out your entire contract, you can’t go month-to-month and have to re-up for another 3 years?

Or does this only apply to month-to-month plans on new cell phone?

At least with internet and cable, I can go month-to-month either after a contract is up, or if I pay more each month.

Rogers just keeps shooting itself in the foot these days. With their overpriced data plans, and recent downgrading of features on all plans they’re going to start losing a ton of current and would be customers.

Yup … they must be very afraid of what’s coming … they are in damage control mode. This means, better to avoid contract as much as we can.

Actually, form a business perspective, lock up as many as you can before the new guys come on the street. That way, when the new cell phone carriers appear, everyone should be on a contract, probably with steep ETFs as well
