TaiG 2.3.0 Download Released with Cydia 1.1.19, Removes ‘setreuid’ Patch

A few days ago the TaiG jailbreak team updated their jailbreak tool to include support for iOS 8.4. Fast forward a few days later and the team has released a couple more updates on top of the initial release, to crush bugs and more.

TaiG v2.3.0 now comes bundled with Cydia 1.1.19 and the release notes also says it removes the setreuid patch.

If you haven’t jailbroken your device, you can download TaiG v2.3.0 to jailbreak iOS 8.1 through iOS 8.4. If you’re already jailbroken, refresh Cydia, which should show the “TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether”, version 2.3, which is all you need to install.

As we noted back then, we suggested waiting a few days to jailbreak iOS 8.4. Well, since then, we’ve seen two subsequent updates that make the process much easier and trouble free.

You can download TaiG v2.3.0 here for Windows—follow this quick tutorial on how to jailbreak your iOS device.

Did it just to get the reachability multitasking, which works OK.. not bad for a jailbroken tweak, but obviously not perfect since the apps aren’t designed to work in split screen.
