Google Chrome to Get Touch Bar Support for Latest MacBook Pro

If you are a user of Google’s Chrome web browser, and you also have a new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, support for the latter is coming soon.

Stephen Hackett over at 512 Pixels first noticed the addition in the latest Chrome Canary beta install from earlier this week (you can download and try the beta now).

As you can see below, there are Touch Bar buttons for forward, back, refresh, search, adding new tabs and favourites. These are basic buttons and could be improved like Apple’s implementation, but it’s a start.

More applications are adding support for Touch Bar; last week the Mac version of Microsoft Office gained Touch Bar support.
