But the crappy thing about Wind is that you buy the phone my sons wants outright ($508 taxes in for Blackberry 9700) and it's only compatible with Wind. I went on E-Bay and Kijii to see if the phone could be purchased cheaper and the suppliers are Rogers, Fido and Telus. Pay as you go with the data plan is only offered through Wind and no other supplier and that sucks. I wish Wind was compatible with GSM frequency so I can purchase the phone cheaper, unlock it and buy a SIM card and were good to go. Maybe they should consider this as more ppl may switch to Wind.

I dont care that I am not in toronto or calgary to actually use it. I dont care that their network is iphone incompatable. I am jus excited for the competition!! Goooooo WIND!!

is it just me, or do none of the plans include picture/video messaging. Also to get basically what I have now, I would be paying the same or more than I am with rogers…..

In my understanding the chip in the iPhone supports six bands including 1700Mhz but would need a firmware update to support it. We just need someone with the know-how to do it…
