If that price point is right, who is this for? I'm still not sure who the target market is for this device. It looks cool, but I already have an iPhone and a MacBook, so I won't be buying one. My wife has an iPhone, but no MacBook, and she is ready to line up for it. Hoefully we'll find out in a few weeks.

This tablet better be mind blowing!!!! As $1000 is quite high for me, but then again Apple wouldn't be cheap. You could buy a new MB.
I want to see Apple get it right the first time, so that the tablet is durable and reliable and this can give developers enough time to port their apps over to the tablet.
I hope all this hype about a tablet is true…
