The reason for the diffrent price rumours are because the big 3 will have different pricing, which means that 2 of the 3 rumours will turn out to be true. Telus and Bell have a different contract with Apple than Rogers and may have to sell the iPhone at a lower price point than Rogers. Bell and Telus may have to sell at $249 and $149 or slightly higher. If you're not yet with Rogers and you'll be signing a contract, make sure you do your homework before you pick a carrier on Friday. The original $749 guess may yet turn out to be true for the Apple store unlocked price as this price affects the price at which Bell and Telus have to sell, though I think the CBC price may be bang on.

I just got off the phone with Fido and asked if I was eligible for an iPhone 4 upgrade. My contract runs to September 2011 and I'm not eligible for an upgrade since I'm not 6 months away from that date. I hope Fido will have a promotion for existing iPhone 3G customers to upgrade.

Update: I just checked again mine went from a suspicious M (I am 5 months away from new contract-should have subsidized pricing) to a null, my friend's number (no contract) was also an M and is now null. IMO this confirms someone is just testing the code or something, and it's not complete yet. I wouldn't pay attention to your letter, just wait and see what is said officially.

i dont think the link works anymore since i tried mine and it gave me a null , also i tried my friend who's 2 month away from finishing the his contract and it gave me a null again. i am pretty sure my friend is eligible to upgrade.

anyways, i am very desperate that i pretty much cannot upgrade to iphone 4 if i go with fido….. for me, the better chance is switch to rogers…. since i can make sure to upgrade a new phone every 2 years. if going with fido, my contract with be ended in 2015…. which looks really ridiculous !

I got an S, although i was expecting an H, since I'm only 13 months way to fulfill my 3 yrs contract. Not only I've called a Fido representative but i just dropped by at Montreal's downtown Ste-Catherine's Fido place and the lady there too said I'm eligible for an upgrade for the reduced 3 year contract price on July 30th supposedly for $199,,,so I'm confused and unsure who to believe. Fido people or this web-link??

I don't think this is correct though. I tested mine and returned M (I should be eligible for M since I am 5 months away from finishing my contract ). To do some further testing, I tried again with my friend's number and postal code who has never had a contract (Should defenatly be an H) and he also got M. Let me know if anyone gets anything other than M or Null
