iPhone 4 Stock Available Online from Bell and Telus

Are you still on the hunt for an iPhone 4, which has been sold out coast to coast? If you’re a Bell and Telus customer (or new customer), iPhone 4 stock is currently available online. Forget waiting in line at Apple Stores and Rogers stores–just buy these online!

Bell and Telus have both the 16/32GB models available online. So get them while they last because I’m sure they’re going to disappear! As for Rogers iPhone 4 stock…nobody knows the status of their stock.

    I ordered one from Virgin Mobile yesterday. Doesnt’ matter how long it takes because I am ditching Rogers once and for all. The way they’ve handled the iPhone 4 is horrible. The last straw was a rude reply when I went to a Rogers store last week to ask about iPhone 4′s. They apparently had 30 in stock but he didn’t want to sell me one due to a waiting list. I was like well I’m a customer as well and I’m here now and I would like one. He said no. I’m also ditching their internet service and switching to DSL

    Actually, stock just got worse. Bell has been listing the iPhone 4 as “ships within 14 days”, but today it’s now “ships within 30″.

    Its just a phone. You cant blame the carrier just cuz you cant get the device. JUST AN FYI all carriers has nothing to do with the iphone 4 its coming from the manufacture. Put yourself in their shoes for once. think if you happen to run the business like telus or bell or rogers. and manufacture of iphone is not able to provide you the product would you still blame the company? Didn’t think so. They are doing they best they can to be able to provide you the iphone4. All carriers are.!!

    FYI I just spoke to Bell and the IPhone 4′s online are for new customers only, if you are existing you are out of luck, keep looking for one at a store :( pretty crappy way to treat existing existing customers…

    Who cares if you’re a customer? As an existing client you make the sames reps like $8. New customers make them $50-$60. I don’t blame them for putting new clients before existing if there’s that much of a difference in what they will make.

    Telus’ website says its out of stock again. Man, am I glad I got mine on day 1… So much for “Antennagate” causing any loss of sales – the iPhone 4 is retardedly popular.

    For two years I’ve loved my iPhone, but lately I’m pretty fed up with Apple. First iOS4 crippling my iPhone 3G, and now the waiting for either the iOS4.1 update or iPhone 4’s to come in stock.

    I’ll no doubt pick up and iPhone 4 when they are widely in stock, and update 4.1 on my 3G (for my GF), but I’ll admit that all those Blackberry Bolds and Android phones just waiting for purchase are starting to look more attractive.

    I have been an fan since my First gen Ipod Tocuh, but this latest waiting is absolutely ridiculous. It was absolutely pointless for Apple to even set a release date if they never intended on meeting supply or demand (which was no surprise from past releases).
    I am ready to jump ships to the Blackberry, but the only thing holding me back is that the Blackberry Torch is not available either.
    Why am I so bothered by this stupid phone, its not like my current Iphone 3G ever ran great, in fact replaced it three times. We are just pawns for these marketing types.

    Rogers stores are franchised (at least here in BC), you should never rely on those stores to judge the company. if you even try to change your plan at one of those stores/kyosks they have to call in the rogers customer service and do it over the phone. a process you could have done yourself, at home. they do whatever they want, those stores are owned by people who don’t care about cellphones and plans, they just want to make a quick buck with a cheap franchising opportunity.

    Bell has been able to take orders since launch but Telus is currently out of stock and says to check store locations. Now all I’ve been able to find are Bell & Telus’ phones in the Montreal area so it shouldn’t be a problem to actually find one.

    This hardly a news worthy post and anyone going to the Bell or Telus site would have know that since launch before reading it here.

    Well Rogers does not have the phone (I don’t know what they are doing over there), however Bell will put you on a waiting list for $50 deposit, and when the phone comes in they will call you (you have 48h to pick it up or it goes to the next person on the list).

    I don’t think Rogers is doing anything to help people get the phone. But Bell is doing the best they can. I think I will cancel my Rogers account, and get a phone from Bell

    Why complain about it? Plenty of people wanted the new iPhone, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that a few were in line long before you. There’s a finite supply of phones and an absurdly huge demand. Get on a wait list – or find a comparable smartphone if, for some reason, you can’t wait another two weeks.

    I agree with you, they treat existing customers like crap. Because they refused to sell me an iphone on the release day ( for the reason that i am already a customer) i’ve tryed to find the phone in every store possible for 3 weeks. I finally gave up and decided to wait another 3 weeks with an online order from apple and get it for sure. Bell really wasted my time… Great way to thank a customer for more than 10 years…

    Telus stores in victoria got stock in a few days ago, I was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time to get the last 16g in the store.

    A sale representant said he had 5 iphone in stock, but only with Telus, and nothing for rogers or fido, does it mean the iphone is already locked to telus only? Or I can force him to sell me the telus model then activated with the carrier of my choice?

    Yesterday I saw the Telus website had the 16 G in stock, ordered it over the phone and amazingly it was delivered today! Even though they said it could take up to 2 weeks. I’d advise anyone to keep checking the website for stock – I had almost given up hope but was constantly checking the website.

    Exactly, I still don’t have one, I also feel tired of going around asking, but I don’t get mad or angry with Apple. It is impossible to meet EVERYONE’s demand when they have worldwide 10+ countries release, any company won’t make extra and then end up overstock, will you pity them “ok, let me buy one more to help” ? Then why would Apple take the risk to make more? Even HTC Desire is out, but I don’t hear ore anybody complain about that.

    The Apple Store in Oakridge had a lineup this afternoon when I left. People are constantly lining up at Fido in the morning only to be turned away by 10:30-11 in the morning.

    I went into my local Bell Store a week before the official release and had them put my name on the list…no deposit.
    10 days after release I had a 32GB iP4.

    Yeah. I was lucky.

    Still. Patience grasshoppers. It IS only a phone. Although if they come out with a BJ app I’m divorcing my wife and marrying my phone.

    It’s likely factory locked. If you unlock a phone you need to replace the baseband’s firmware. And you can’t do that if you can’t jailbreak, as is the situation with the new 4.0.2 firmware.

    (And there’s no way they’re going to sell you a locked phone off the carrier.)

    I can tell you that checking with a few stores gives results, for Telus at least. I started looking for IP4 yesterday only and found mine today (32 GB) and they had some available in 2 stores close to home and in the third one, they told me that I’ll be able to get it next week. With Rogers and Telus stores, I got one in less than 10 phones calls. Forced me to jump ship from Rogers though and pay penalties but all in all it’s a win deal since I got a decent plan at Telus .

    As a Rogers customer , this SUCKS. I’ve asked people at Rogers why we can’t order an iPhone 4 online and the canned response is that you have to line up for HOURS at an Apple Store or call / visit Rogers stores. I’ve visted many Rogers stores only to be told “we just sold the last one” or “we didn’t get any shipments and don’t know when we’re getting the next one”. I’ve had Rogers stores PROMISE me one only to get the same BS. Someone at a T-Booth store told me that Rogers WAS allowing online orders. I rushed home to check only to find out she was mistaken. I’ve asked if I’ll get an iPhone by Christmas … yes. By Canadian Thanksgiving … maybe. The iPhone was released in Canada almost 4 weeks ago. Thanksgiving is still 7 weeks ago. This is NOT good.

    I won’t / can’t switch to Bell / Telus because we have all services with Rogers. I won’t get another smart phone because I’ve paid for a lot of Apps. I will keep trying but I’ve lost patience with Rogers AND Apple.

    I’ve encountered the same BS with Rogers. See my post above. I am getting rid of my Rogers services. Even though it means breaking my iPhone contract with one year left. It’s time we stop being slaves to the “Big 3″

    I ordered a 32GB from Telus on Aug 3 and got it a week later…just keep checking the website. Works great..no antenna issues and just did a road trip with it tethered to my laptop. No efffing way I was standing in any line for a phone…ANY phone.

    What waiting list? Rogers doesn’t have one to speak of and their dealers (or atleast the idiot one I left my name with) call you during business hours and if you don’t answer the calll, you are SOL they move onto the next person.

    Saying these are franchises of course does nothing to let Rogers off the hook. In that case, Rogers should enforce even stricter standards to avoid hurting its brand, which it has certainly done in this case.

    Rogers dealers creating a system that makes people call around and line up based on rumors is not a way to ensure fair or efficient distribution of limited supplies. Bell is doing exactly the right thing by asking for $50 deposits and placing names on a wait list, with estimated time for availability. It certainly makes me want to switch to Bell when my Rogers contract is up.

    Apple stores in Canada also deserve a lot of the same blame, as they don’t provide any way to reserve in-store purchases, unlike in the US. A black mark for Apple Canada

    I never thought I would be writing a complaint letter to you guys, after all I am an ex employee and long time mac user.
    The fact is Apple has really really dropped the ball with the iPhone 4 rollout and availability I for one and not the only one I know are thoroughly disappointed with the canadian launch (I liver here now) of the iPhone 4. While I would love to blame the cell phone providers up here ultimately you guys are the ones who supply the Phones to the providers. The fact that as of August 26th you guys still have a line out the door of people waiting at the Apple Store from 2AM every day trying to get an iPhone, the fact that Rogers and Telus etc.. will not take any orders on their websites, the fact that Rogers employees are just rude to people when you call a store to enquire about iPhone 4 availability ultimately rests on your shoulders. While i appreciate the production problems with the white units and of course the amazing demand the iPhone 4 has received, you guys had 3 years to anticipate for this, plenty of time to ensure stock piles of units to flood the markets when you released them and if you couldn’t supply the foreseeable demand then quite simply those release dates should have been pushed until you did have a good enough supply flow for the demand. You are Apple not Microsoft for a reason. unfortunately that reason on this occasion has become too close in similarity leaving people like me frustrated and disheartened that the legendary service, the surprise and delight, the shock and awe is nowhere to be found, much like the iPhone 4 a month after its release.

    Stories like this are what are probably make leave next year when my contract is up after 15 years with Bell, for ironically, Virgin, which they own. Virigins $50 Smartphone combo for the iphone smokes Bell’s $50 plan with earlier evenings and weekends and INCLUDES voicemail and caller ID. If Bell won’t make me the same offer, see ya!!!

    Fuck you Apple. and Fuck you Rogers. Total crap releasing this phone and selling out in one day only to not get stock in or have it trickle 1 or 2 units at a time a month after the release date. Total lack of preperation on Apples part and a shit show for Rogers customers that have to continually phone every day to find out if the store just got 2 units in and are now sold out for another 4 weeks.     Try being a Virgin Mobile customer. Our Virgin Mobile store here has NEVER gotten an iphone4 and except on launch day….they got exactly TWO. Our Best Buy here got a total of SIX iphones on launch day. Six for launch day with a line up stretching out the door of people who had waited all night long.

    I just happen to need a new phone right now as my old one is kaput or I would so not be trying to track down a new iphone at this time.

    I wrote to Apple about the lack of supply here even on launch day and so far no one has written me back. This is indicative to me that Apple doesn’t care about a potential customer. I will just buy a low priced phone to get the six gig deal with Virgin then buy a Desire HD when they come out.

    The new iphone 4 is a nice phone but, Apple is treating customers like crap AND their service providers too. Best Buy getting six phones on launch day is INEXCUSABLE when they knew people would be lining up before open.

    The VERY least Jobs could do is put up a letter on the website explaining a reason why it is taking so long for an adequate amount of supply to hit the stores in Canadian markets in a timely manner. I don’t live in a city with an “Apple” store as many, many do not.

    Does Apple REALLY think it’s a privilege to drive two hours to a store, pay seven hundred dollars and then pay for a contract on a phone with reception issues already known? Especially with Android biting at their heels?

    If I didn’t HAVE to travel for work where I need a decent phone right now and my old one wasn’t dying there is no way on earth I’d make any effort whatsoever to get this phone knowing what I know now about how Apple has dealt with these issues.

    Allowing a carrier like Virgin to carry the iphone 4 and then not sending the outlets ANY phones for weeks on end is utter nonsense and very, very poor customer service.

    I have been put on hold for extened periodes that are unexceptable for a company like apple.

    26/08/2010 = 10 minutes and 53seconds > no ansewer

    so where is the tech support workers and WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING RATHER THEN WORKING.

    I have requested that the supervisor for tech suport call me on my cell/I-Phone so we can discuss this problem. We will see how speedy that person incharge is and if they are available to the customers of Apple Corporations and Departments

    I don’t like the way they sell iPhone 4,
    the shipment came in around 10-4 Monday to Friday,
    and most of people were working during that time.
    Why don’t they just put a sign outside the store said “iPhone 4 is in stock, and we will start to sell them on Saturday ( or Sunday, I prefer Sunday) when store opened” This way, at least everybody can go there and wait in the line. It’s more fair this way….
