9to5Mac: iPhone 5se Will Come in Rose Gold, not ‘Bright Pink’

Yesterday a report from Japanese site Mac Otakara suggested that Apple’s rumoured iPhone 5se may come in Silver, Space Gray, and a bright pink shade that is different than the Rose Gold of the iPhone 6s.

9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman has suggested that the rumour of a bright pink iPhone 5se is not true. Gurman’s sources suggest that the iPhone 5se will come in a Rose Gold option that will match that of the iPhone 6s.

The report also notes that Apple is looking to bring the Rose Gold colour option to other devices, including the upcoming iPad Air 3, 12-inch MacBook, and the iPad mini. However, these colour options for the 12-inch MacBook and iPad mini will unlikely be announced at the company’s rumoured March media event.

Other iPhone 5se rumours point towards an iPhone 5s-style design with the curved cover glass of the iPhone 6, an A9 processor, Touch ID, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. As for the iPad Air 3 the rumours have been sparse, but lately we’ve seen a design drawing suggesting that the 9.7-inch tablet will feature a four-speaker system (similar to the iPad Pro), Smart Connector, and camera flash.
