Adobe Announces Lightroom for iPhone with Creative Cloud 2014

Adobe has today announced the release of Creative Cloud 2014, which includes major updates for all of its key desktop apps and an all new family of Creative Cloud connected mobile apps, including Adobe Lightroom for iPhone. “Lightroom is the logical thing to look at next,” according to Scott Morris, Adobe’s senior marketing director for Creative Cloud.

Today’s update brings new features to pretty much all of Adobe’s desktop applications, as well as four new mobile apps. Two of these new apps, ‘Sketch’ and ‘Line’, are designed to accompany Adobe’s latest digital pen and ruler peripherals for the iPad. ‘Photoshop Mix’ is a third app that lets you work with PSD files stored in your Adobe cloud drive. Best of all, the Adobe Lightroom has now arrived on the iPhone in addition to the iPad version, allowing quick access to editing tools right from your handset.

“Our new family of Creative Cloud connected mobile apps are professional grade but easy to use and extend workflows previously locked to the desktop. We also introduced new mobiles apps for creative imaging and photography with the release of Adobe Photoshop Mix and a mobile version of Lightroom.

To support this new level of connectedness, we’re introducing a new Creative Cloud services experience across desktop, web and mobile. When logged in to Adobe.com, customers will be able to easily access their assets, colors, fonts, community and collaborators.”

Adobe is now also offering a permanent $10-per-month subscription deal for access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC. If you already have a subscription, you can grab Lightroom for iPhone for free at the following App Store link:
