Alleged iPhone 7 Rear Shell Shows Protruding Camera [PICS]

French blog Nowhereelse has spotted what they claim to be the first real photo of an actual iPhone 7 back. As you can see in the image inserted below, the design shows only small changes compared to the currently available iPhone 6s, but what’s interesting here is the camera.

Those awaiting a flush back, well, they may have to wait until at least next year, as Apple seems to like the protruding camera design that surprised users with the launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

What is noteworthy, though, is that the camera hole appears to be slightly bigger than that of the iPhone 6s, suggesting that further camera tweaks are coming with the release of the next-generation model this fall. According to various reports, the dual-lens camera system maybe be exclusive to the Plus model.

Another image leak – once again from China and spotted again by the French Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse – claims to show an iPhone 7 prototype with a four-speaker design. While this rumour would build on Apple’ choice to dump the 3.5 mm headphone jack, this design doesn’t seem to be viable, as even the leaker questions the design choice of putting a speaker so close to the camera module.

However, the image of the alleged iPhone 7 back doesn’t seem to corroborate the aforementioned four-speaker system, as the image shows neither the top nor back of the forthcoming handset.
