Here is Amazon Prime Video’s First-Ever Super Bowl Ad: Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan [VIDEO]

Amazon Prime Video is set to air their first-ever Super Bowl ad, and it’s the trailer for the upcoming premiere of their Amazon Original series, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, starring John Krasinski (The Office).

The original series is set to debut on Prime Video on August 31, 2018, and marks the first time Tom Clancy’s character Jack Ryan debuts on television.

“Given the colossal scope and scale of the series coupled with the popularity of Tom Clancy’s novels, we knew Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan would be a natural fit for Prime Video’s first Super Bowl ad,” said Mike Benson, Head of Marketing for Amazon Studios, in an issued statement to iPhone in Canada. “The global nature of the audience provides us with a unique opportunity to give viewers a look at this thrilling new series coming to Prime.”

Those watching U.S. Super Bowl LII will see the 60-second trailer below air on Sunday, February 4, immediately after the halftime show. Check it out below:

There’s also a Canadian connection to Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, as the series was partially filmed in Montreal and features Canadian actor Adam Barnett.

Amazon Prime Video is a streaming video service which comes included with every Prime subscription, which costs $79 CAD per year in Canada and $39 for students.
