Amazon’s Apple Certified Lightning Cables Available Starting at $13.49

A while back Amazon Canada’s website noted the launch date for their AmazonBasics Apple Certified Lightning USB cables would be on November 15. We noted that day on our calendar and now we’re reminding you about these MFi-certified cables, which are much cheaper than Apple’s cables and will make great spare cables for the office or the car.

If you order a 1 meter Lightning cable from Apple it costs $21, but from Amazon you can get an Apple-certified cable for $13.49, which is 36% cheaper. These cables will work for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and basically any Lightning port iOS device. They are Prime-eligible too, but for orders over $25 non-members get free shipping.
