Apple Music launched in Canada priced at $9.99/$14.99 for Individual and Family plans earlier today, with radio station Beats 1 also going live as part of the company’s new streaming music service. The new station will stream content 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and will be hosted by Zane Lowe out of Los Angeles, Ebro Darden out of New York City and Julie Adenuga in London.
To celebrate the launch of Beats 1, Apple has not only converted the old iTunes Tumblr page to a new one focused on Apple Music, but has also published the schedule for the Beats 1 radio service, which uses the user’s location to automatically list local times for the shows. The service will offer live interviews with artists, brand new music and lots more.
Looking at the Tuesday schedule, it appears that Zane Lowe is kicking everything off at noon Eastern followed by Beats 1 NYC at 2 p.m., Julie Adenuga at 3 p.m., Beats 1 LA at 5 p.m., Ebro Darden at 6 p.m., St. Vincent at 10 p.m. and Betas 1 LA again at 11 p.m.
