Apple Maps is now sourcing data from Kingston Transit, for the Ontario city. This addition means users of Apple Maps seeking transit data will now get information directly from local transit authorities.
The addition of Kingston Transit was added to the Apple Maps acknowledgement page and currently transit data for the city is showing in Apple Maps:
Back in October, Apple Maps gained more transit data for eight Canadian cities, including the likes of Grand Prairie, St. Albert and Sudbury, to name a few. Last year also so more Apple Maps transit additions for Calgary and Edmonton as well.
Officially, Apple’s website for Apple Maps and supported Transit cities in Canada, there are only eight locations listed, but clearly more are supported.
