Apple Maps Updated to Show Apple Park 3D Models, Campus Walkways

Apple has recently updated Apple Maps to show detailed 3D models of their new Apple Park campus, as well as all the walkways the run through the site.

The updated data in Apple Maps also includes various points of interest around the campus, including the Steve Jobs Theatre,the R&D facility, fitness center, and above ground parking structures. The map is so detailed that it even shows the manmade pond inside the main ring.

The company first added data about Apple Park to its Maps app in March, offering a sneak peak of the campus through various satellite images. This update does not include any new satellite imagery.

Apple has already started moving 12,000 employees to Apple Park. The move in process is expected to take six months to complete.
