Apple Stores in Canada Launch Personal Pickup for Online Orders

Shopping on Apple.ca and within the Apple Store iOS app is going to be much easier during Black Friday and Christmas. Apple has launched Personal Pickup in Canada and Australia, which means customers can reserve items online, then arrange for pickup at an Apple retail store of their choosing, as spotted by MacRumorswhich had heard earlier this month of support coming for Canada and other countries.

As you can see below, when shopping within the Apple Store iOS app, you now see a section for ‘Available for pickup’, (in the same spot where Reserve and Pickup was available for the iPhone 6s):

With Personal Pickup, you can shop for a variety of Apple products and accessories and they will be ready for you to pickup in-store, saving you time. The feature has long been available in the U.S., but this marks an expansion internationally to numerous countries.

During the checkout screen, you’ll be able to select any store of your choosing, or the app will default to the store nearest to your location. Also, notice the Apple Store iOS app now supports Apple Pay for checkout, timed with today’s launch of the mobile wallet in Canada:
