Apple Retail Store Set to Open in Surrey, British Columbia

Metro Vancouver is set to receive its sixth Apple Store as Surrey is slated to have a retail location open in Fall of 2013. According to people familiar with plans but speaking on the condition of anonymity to iPhoneinCanada.ca, internal hiring and transfers for positions were posted May 22, with internal staff transfers to be confirmed in July. External hiring will commence in mid-June.

No details were provided regarding the exact location of the store. Possible locations could include Guildford Town Centre, which began a three phase $280 million redevelopment to renovate and expand the mall, with final construction to be completed in 2014.

Another possibility could be The Shops at Morgan Crossing, an outdoor outlet style mall with various fashion retailers.

Current Apple retail stores include locations at Pacific Centre and Oakridge Mall in Vancouver, Richmond Centre in Richmond, Metrotown in Burnaby and Coquitlam Centre in Coquitlam. If you live in Surrey, where would you want an Apple Store to open?
