Apple Unveils Brand New Bands for Apple Watch Series 3

Apple announced the release of an assortment of new band colors and styles for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 3 during its special event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.

Along with the Apple Watch Sport Band ($69 CAD) mainstays, the Cupertino company also released a new pattern for the popular Woven Nylon model, which comes in six variations, including Dark Olive, Midnight Blue, and Spicy Orange. The band sells for a cool $69 CAD.

The company also introduced a brand-new band design called the Sport Loop, a lightweight, “soft, breathable nylon weave with an easily adjustable hook-and-loop fastener.” Designed to adjust for a more comfortable fit on various wrist sizes, the Sport Loop comes in eight new variations, including Flash, Electric Pink, and Seashell. The band will set you back $69 CAD.

Apple’s Nike Sport Band lineup is also receiving a fresh colorway, as the company introduced a Pure Platinum/Black design. As is with the other colorways, this model run at $69 CAD.

Apple also released a few new colorways in its Apple Watch leather lineup, including Cosmos Blue, Pink Fuchsia, and Dark Aubergine bands. All of Apple’s leather bands sell for $199 CAD.

Finally, new Hermès Apple Watch models pair with a collection of new bands ($449-629 CAD), including the Single Tour Rallye, in perforated Gala calfskin, inspired by the classic Hermès driving glove, and the Single Tour Eperon d’Or, in printed Gala calfskin, inspired by the equestrian scarf pattern designed by Henri d’Origny in 1974.

Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular connectivity will be available in 9 countries, including Canada, and 14 carriers from 22 September.
