Apple’s Free iOS App of the Week: Angry Birds Space

Angry Birds Space by Rovio Entertainment is Apple’s free app of the week. The game normally retails for $1.29 and is free for this week only.

Angry Birds Space is the same Angry Birds game that everyone loves, but it takes place in space! Whether it’s the icy orbs of Cold Cuts, the volcanic explosiveness of Red Planet, Utopia, a planet made entirely of junk food, or even our own Solar System, each episode offers intergalactic fun at every turn.

The low-gravity environment of space results in spectacular gameplay ranging from slow-motion puzzles to lightspeed destruction. With brand new birds, special abilities, and a whole galaxy to explore, the sky is no longer the limit.

Angry Birds Space is available as a free download (normally $1.29) from the App Store. The game requires any iOS device running iOS 8.0 or later. The app contains in-app purchases ranging between $0.99 and $19.99.
