Apple’s Jonathan Ive Says Apple’s Best Work Is Yet To Come

During a recent interview with The Telegraph, Apple’s senior vice president of Industrial Design, Jonathan Ive, said that Apple’s best work has yet to come.

Ive is one of the Apple executives behind the success of some of Apple’s best and brightest products such as the iPhone, original iPod and its future evolutions, the iPad, and overall Mac designs, especially the MacBook Air.

During the interview, Ive was asked which one of his designs he would be most remembered for. Ive responded:

“It’s a really tough one. A lot does seem to come back to the fact that what we’re working on now feels like the most important and the best work we’ve done, and so it would be what we’re working on right now, which of course I can’t tell you about.”

Overall, Ive’s comments set an exciting tone for the upcoming year. At this time, recent rumors suggest that Apple is working on a thinner MacBook Pro, a smaller iPad, a new HD television, and an updated iPhone.

Aside from the interview, on Wednesday Ive received knighthood in London. Check out the video here.
