Apple’s Senior Executives Get A Bonus Of 1,000,000 Company Shares

Apple has reportedly seen 2011 as its record fiscal year with revenues topping $100 billion. As a reward for their efforts, 7 senior executives of Apple Inc. have been given a bonus of 1,000,000 (1 Million) shares. According to SEC filings, with Apple’s stock riding over $400 per share, today’s awarded shares are worth $60 million per person as per their current value. An Apple spokesperson has told the Wall Street Journal that the awards are “meant to reward them down the road for their hard work in helping to keep Apple the most innovative company in the world.”

Bruce Sewell – 150,000 shares, 50 percent vest on June 21, 2013, 100 percent on March 21, 2016
Jeffrey Williams – 150,000 shares, 50 percent on June 21, 2013, 100 percent on March 21, 2016
Philip Schiller – 150,000 shares, 50 percent on June 21, 2013, 100 percent on March 21, 2016
Peter Oppenheimer –150,000 shares, 50 percent on June 21, 2013, 100 percent on March 21, 2016
Robert Mansfield – 150,000 shares, 50 percent on June 21, 2013, 100 percent on March 21, 2016
Scott Forstall – 150,000 shares, 50 percent on June 21, 2013, 100 percent on March 21, 2016

Earlier this year, when Tim Cook was appointed CEO, he was awarded 1 Million shares should he stay with the company till 2021.
