During Apple’s media event where they announced the iPhone 7, the Cupertino giant also announced several updates to its Beats line of headphones. The updates included new wireless Beats Solo3, PowerBeats3, and BeatsX products, which all use the new W1 chip that Apple introduced with its new wireless AirPods.

Noticeably missing from the lineup was a new version of the company’s over-the-year Studio Wireless headphones. According to a new report from CNET, there is no update planned for the Studio Wireless products in 2016.

The existing Studio Wireless headphones are priced at $399.95 and offer a noise canceling feature that is a huge energy drainer. Currently, the battery in the headphones can least up to 12 hours of playback on Bluetooth. However, with the rumoured addition of Apple’s W1 chip, the battery life could be greatly improved.
