All-New ‘Things 3’ Task Manager Released for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Things 3

Rebuilt from the ground up to provide users with an even simpler interface design, Germany-based Cultured Code has today released the much anticipated Things 3 task manager for Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, offering delightful new interactions, and powerful new features. The developers have made the UI in Things 3 more “invisible”, while also adding rich new features and functionality that make your life easier.

Things

When you fire up the all new Things 3 and open a to-do, it smoothly transforms into a clear white piece of paper. If you like, you can add more details (tags, a checklist, a start date, a deadline), but those fields are neatly tucked away in the corner until you need them. Calendar events now display together with your to-dos, giving an outline of your schedule.

The new Upcoming list shows everything on your agenda for the coming days: scheduled to-dos, repeating to-dos, deadlines, and calendar events. The new plus button adds some magic to every interaction. If you want to insert your to-do somewhere else, simply command the button where it should go. Lift it up with your finger, drag it into place, and let go.

You can learn more and download Things 3 for iOS and Mac in the App Stores. In the meantime, check out the following promo video:

I guess if just bought Things2 then money flush downed the toilet.

I would try to get a refund explaining you just bought the old version.

I spent over $80 on Things for Desktop, iPad and iPhone years ago. This amounts to an update (while a healthy one) and I have to rebuy them all? Doesn’t seem very kind to their longer-term customers.
