Fortune’s 2014 list of the “Most Powerful Women in Business” has included Apple SVP Angela Ahrendts, the former CEO of fashion brand Burberry who joined the Cupertino giant as Senior Vice President of Retail and Online stores earlier this year (via 9to5Mac).

“Ahrendts may have given up a CEO title when she left Burberry to head Apple’s $20 billion retail operation, but her new role puts her more in the spotlight than ever. At Apple since May, she’s now key to the success of the company’s new watch.”

Ranking at No. 29 as her first entry on the Fortune’s 2014 list, Ahrendts is responsible for the operation and expansion of Apple retail and online stores. While the company had announced her hiring last October, her 2014 start date was only finalized when CEO Tim Cook revealed she would start working for the tech giant during the company’s Q2 2014 earnings call in April.
