The Schlage Sense is Apple HomeKit compatible, which means it can integrate seamlessly with your iOS devices and Siri, plus the added security of Apple’s HomeKit protocols. You’ll be able to use Siri to lock and unlock your door, or setup automated scenes using the Home app.

The Schlage Sense comes with a touchscreen as well, along with a traditional keyhole for keys. The touchscreen can have up to 30 codes entered, plus the lock has a built-in alarm if it senses an intrusion.

    I’ve found that good Insulated Canadian doors don’t play well with remote door locks. My door needs to be physically pulled on in order to lock and unlock.

    Don’t cheapen out and call out a locksmith to install it, and ask them to make sure the door closes and opens smoothly. Otherwise its nothing but headaches.

    I agree with you. It’s not the locksmith problem, it’s the insulation between door and frame to keep bitter cold out not requiring tug to close the door fully for lock to engage.
