Instagram Now Lets You Follow Your Favourite Hashtags

Instagram has today introduced the ability to follow hashtags on your main feed, making it even easier for you to stay connected with your top interests, hobbies and communities. The process is as simple as following a friend on Instagram. 

All you need to do is search for a topic you’re interested in or tap on a hashtag from any post. You will then see relevant hashtags displayed in your search results along with related accounts. Simply open the hashtag page and tap on the follow button. Once done, you’ll start seeing top posts from that hashtag in your feed and some of the latest stories in your stories bar.

“To give you more ways to find hashtags you might like, you can check out the hashtags other people follow in their profiles. Similar to people you follow, hashtags you follow respect your privacy settings. If you set your account to private, the hashtags you follow will only be visible to your followers.”
