iOS 8.2 Public Release Date Rumoured for March

If the ‘trusted source’ from BGR is to be believed, Apple’s public release for iOS 8.2 won’t happen this month, but rather in March:

We’ve been told by a trusted source that Apple isn’t planning to release iOS 8.2 until March, according to the most recent roadmap. While iOS 8.2 will bring some general improvements and fixes to the company’s mobile operating system, the big news is the support for Apple Watch.

Just yesterday Apple released iOS 8.2 beta 5 to developers, which included a new beta of Xcode that added continued support for WatchKit. This beta fixes the widespread GMT bug in the Calendar app for iOS 8 users.

Apple CEO Tim Cook previously announced Apple Watch would be start shipping in April, while last week rumours cited the company informing top-tier developers to have apps ready by mid-February.
