YouTube channel EverythingApplePro has shared a speed test comparison of iOS 9.2.1 vs iOS 9.2 on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/5S and iPhone 6/6S. A variety of hands-on tests of animations, boot-up speeds, app loading speeds, Wi-Fi and Geekbench scores and more are compared.

Have you updated to iOS 9.2.1 yet? How did it go?

  • I did the whole “About phone” sliding back a forth as he does in the video, and yeah it’s ever so slightly choppy, but I never did that test on my 6s Plus before I updated, so I’m not sure if that’s from the update, or has always been like that

As for everything else, I don’t see any difference. My 6s plus performes exceptionally well as it always has.

This post would have been much more helpful to *readers* had you given a summary of the results rather than making them commit to watching a 6 minute video to get an answer.

He’s talking fractions of a second and this is definitely not a scientific analysis. Most people wouldn’t notice any difference on one vs the other.
