iOS Game Superbrothers Wins Five Awards at the Canadian Videogame Awards

About a month ago we told you the Toronto-based Capybara Games had their iOS game Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP was nominated for Game of the Year at the 2012 Canadian Video Game Awards.

The announcement of winners took place this Saturday at Fan Expo Vancouver, with Capybara taking home 5 wins out of the 11 nominations they were up for. Their awards included: Best Game on the Go, Best Downloadable Game, Best Indie Game, the Innovation Award and Best Original Music. Unfortunately they did not win Game of the Year (fan-voted), as that went to EA’s FIFA Soccer 12.

It’s an amazing achievement to have an iOS game being recognized amongst major console games. Congrats to Capybara.
