Alleged ‘iPhone 8’ in Copper Gold, Black and Silver Gets Hands-On [VIDEO]

Yesterday we saw YouTuber Danny Winget compare alleged dummy units of an iPhone 7s Plus versus an iPhone 8, detailing how these new models expected to arrive this fall should look like.

Now, Winget has shown off on video all three expected iPhone 8 colours: black, silver and the new ‘copper gold’ option.

In the video, it details the same design we’ve seen from other leaked images of this new iPhone 8 design, showing dual vertically stacked cameras on the rear, a larger Sleep/Wake button, the absence of a Home button and more sensors along the top front of the display, which now spans the entire front surface.

The “copper gold” option shown in the video sports a white front, which makes the sensors and camera stick out like a sore thumb. Winget says he “hates” the new copper colour calling it “hideous”.

The video also compares the iPhone 8 to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, showing how the size reduction will be welcome for those with smaller hands wanting a larger display.

What do you think of this new copper colour option, if it is indeed true?
