Apple has informed us via email this evening it has activated an option to donate via iTunes towards the Canadian Red Cross disaster relief fund for Nepal earthquake victims, with 100% of proceeds going towards the Red Cross. Earlier today, the feature went live in the U.S. but was unavailable in Canada.

You can make a donation to the Canadian Red Cross by visiting iTunes.com/redcross–donation options range from $5 up to $200 and will be charged to your credit card linked to your iTunes account.
