Leaked Photos Show 1715 mAh Battery of the Upcoming ‘iPhone 6c’

An image said to be the battery of the upcoming “iPhone 6c” has been shared by Nowhereelse.fr today, giving us a first look at the battery for the device.

According to the French site, the iPhone 6c will have a battery with a capacity of 1715 mAh. In comparison, the iPhone 5c has a battery capacity of 1507 mAh.

Even though the battery capacity is higher than its predecessor, the iPhone 6c’s rumoured battery size will still be less than the current generation iPhone 6, which has a battery capacity of 1810 mAh.

The next-generation line of iPhones is will reportedly focus on upgraded internal components, which will lead to performance and battery life improvements. The upgrade may also re-engineer the internal structure of the device to make it more durable.

The iPhone 6c will reportedly launch alongside the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus this fall. The iPhone 6s is expected to included an improved 12-megapixel camera, A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, a better Touch ID sensor, and a new rose gold colour option. Mass production of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is rumoured to begin this month.
