Rogers/Fido Lower iPhone 3G Price To $99

So everyone was predicting and wanting a $99 iPhone and Apple delivered! Apple announced at their WWDC event that the 8GB iPhone 3G will be lowered in price to $99 from $199 effective June 19, 2009. However, Rogers and Fido also passed those savings onto the 16GB iPhone 3G!

8GB iPhone 3G $99; 16GB iPhone 3G $179

The price of the existing 8GB iPhone 3G will be lowered to $99 from $199 on June 19, 2009. They will be available at Rogers or Fido stores with a 3 year contract and an eligible voice with data attached plan or voice and data combo plan (Voice plan must be $30.01 or higher, otherwise the 8GB iPhone 3G will cost $149.99). In other words, you must get a data plan to qualify for the $99 price.

The 8GB iPhone 3G comes only in Black and will be available until stock is out for $99 starting June 19, 2009.

As for the 16GB iPhone 3G, its price has been lowered to $179 from $299.99 effective immediately and will further drop to $149 on June 19, 2009. It will also be available at Rogers or Fido stores with a 3 year contract and an eligible voice or voice and data plan (Voice plan must be $30.01 or higher, otherwise the 16GB iPhone 3G will cost $229). In other words, you don’t need to get a data plan to qualify for the $179 price.

The 16GB iPhone 3G comes in Black or White and will be available until stock is out for $179 starting immediately. The price will further drop to $149 on June 19, 2009 but with a data plan and voice plan only.
