Shoppers Drug Mart: 10% Off iTunes Cards; App Offers 20x Points Coupon

Looking to save a few bucks on iTunes Cards? Just visit your local Shoppers Drug Mart (or Pharmaprix), as they have 10% off $50 or $100 cards, from March 19-24, which equates to savings of $5 or $10 respectively.

By funding your iTunes Account with these discounted cards, that means you’re saving on any digital purchase or subscription from Apple’s iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store and more. If your monthly iCloud or Apple Music subscription is funded from your iTunes Account, stocking up on these cards are a no-brainer.

While 10% off isn’t that great compared to the period 20% off iTunes Cards sale at Costco, it’s still saving you money.

Also, if you’re a Shoppers Optimum points collector, the flyer notes the Shoppers Drug Mart iOS app contains a 20x points coupon, applicable on Saturday, March 19th or Sunday, March 20th only. If you’re loading up on iTunes Cards and other items (i.e. junk food!), you have today only to claim your 20x points in-store.

The Shoppers Drug Mart iOS app supports Wallet, so you it’s really easy to scan your iPhone or Apple Watch at checkout, plus stores also accept Apple Pay. Props to SDM for making it easy to shop there with your iPhone and Apple Watch!

I have tried to use the shoppers points card a number of times when purchasing iTunes cards. Every time I am told that gift card(iTunes, Starbucks etc) purchases are not eligible for shoppers points.

  • Matt

I’m not seeing the 20x coupon. I see an ad for it, but no actual coupon..

  • Tina

    Same here.

Gift cards do not apply for bonus points.

Confirming what the others have said – just checked the app. It’s in the fine print. Gift cards don’t qualify for the 20x.
