Twitter Partners with the CFL to Live Stream #CFLTHISWEEK

This week, the Canadian Football League (CFL) reached a teal with Twitter Canada to live stream 30-minute weekly live show #CFLTHISWEEK.

The show will be live streamed globally on @CFL every Wednesday at 3pm EST. The weekly show will begin this Wednesday, June 28 and will be hosted by CFL host Brodie Lawson and three-time Grey Cup champion Davis Sanchez, with guest appearances by the league’s manager of social media and content, Max Rosenberg.

The show will be live streamed from Twitter Canada’s Toronto headquarters and feature league news, player interviews, special guests, fun social stories, fantasy picks and discussion.

In a statement, Twitter Canada head of sports partnerships Christopher Doyle said:

“The CFL has long been one of Twitter Canada’s top sports partners, and we’re thrilled to be teaming up with the league on #CFLTHISWEEK. Livestreaming video content has become a big part of the Twitter experience for Canadian sports fans, and we’re excited to have the CFL join our growing roster of global livestream partners.”

In a statement, CFL senior vice president of marketing and content Christina Litz said:

“#CFLTHISWEEK is a show built for fans. It will include all of the great football content they’ve come to expect from the CFL, along with new fun segments and interviews made for sharing—all on our fans’ favorite social platform, Twitter.”
