What’s New in iOS 10.2 Beta 2: Emergency SOS on iPhone and More [VIDEO]

Yesterday Apple released iOS 10.2 beta 2, along with similar beta versions for tvOS 10.1 and watchOS 3.1.1 for developers.

  • Settings > TV Provider — single sign on
  • New TV Widget
  • Emergency SOS Feature: click Sleep/Wake button five times for personal alarm

Other notable iOS 10.2 beta features noted by the channel:

  • Notification Center widgets will remain at last viewed position
  • New splash screen to re-enable Siri (if you disable Siri in Settings) when you tap and hold Home button
  • Apple Music Genres have new sort options: title, newest, oldest
  • Entire genres can be downloaded in Apple Music now
  • Contact photo disappears in Messages thread list and message window if disabled
  • Quick reply to messages now shows who you’re responding to when writing a reply
  • Live Photos are now smoother, less choppy
  • iOS 10.2 beta returned 2GB back to device

There most likely will be a few more beta versions before the final version of iOS 10.2 is released to the public.
