What’s New in iOS 12 Beta 4 [VIDEO]

Apple released iOS 12 beta 4 for developers yesterday, and this morning released the same build for public beta testers, which is beta three for the latter.

Want to find out what’s new in iOS 12 beta 4? YouTube channel EverythingApplePro has released another excellent hands-on video, detailing all the minor tweaks and changes.

Some features or changes that caught my eye include a new change in how Multi-Touch handles scrolling in Safari and Control Center, as scrolling inertia seems to have been given a boost.

Also, now when you eject the SIM card tray—your iPhone will immediately disable Touch ID and Face ID, requiring a passcode to re-enable the phone.

In beta four, now when the USB Accessories toggle is disabled in Face ID & Passcode settings, your phone will lock the USB port immediately, instead of waiting an hour.

iMessage now sees some more stickers in the Activity pack, while the Memoji editor gains new lip designs and colour options for ears.

Some designs were tweaks for the controls in Music, while sharesheet icons also get revamped, along with some drawing tool icons in Markup.
