Ascendo has an updated version of DataVault for iPhone that syncs with PC desktop. I tried 1Password when iPhone part was free but I'm on Vista, so 1Password wasn't really an option for me, but seems like good option for Mac.

It's a good product, and 1Password 3 is definitely a huge improvement. The only thing stopping me from taking the plunge is KeePass for Windows and KeePassX for Mac. It's a free password manager that does its job quite nicely for Windows. The Mac client is lacking compared to the Windows client, but you can't argue with free.

If 1Password was $20 instead of $40 I'd probably go for it, but it's a little too expensive when there is a good free alternative.

You should check out SplashID from SplashData. It handles many different types of information (and allows you to create your own types), and has clients for Mac, PC, and iPhone/iPod Touch.
