Well said. Stay away from this app and from RedLaser too if you are in Canada, no matter how cool and appealing they are.

I tried this app a little while ago and while it may be great for consumers in the U.S., it won't do you much good here in Canada because virtually every food product we have here has a different UPC (barcode) than in the U.S. since our government requires bilingual labeling. The other features are cool, but the meat & potatoes of this app is the ability to scan your grocery items.
