Watching live TV on PC is now becoming a major entertainment in daily life. It takes lower cost and enjoy more channels than traditional TV box. I think the main changes coming in future are TV-ready Desktop/Laptop and Internet-ready TV.

I agree with Montymon on the background part. That is why running backgrounder (Cydia) may help… I hate ads though! lol but they do help out for support.

The difficulty with this [and Latitude] is that your friends have to have the app running to have current data on their location. Until these types of apps can run in the background there's little point. I know I only run Latitude when I'm running late to meet a friend so they can see my progress towards them and then only when I remember they're on my friend list.
