I used to use Tweetie, but switched to SimplyTweet a long time ago, and have been using it daily as my main twitter client ever since. I like that it's both well designed, but also very powerful. Supporting Push Notifications was also a killer feature for a long time. I've never had any issues with, except for perhaps when I first open it and it times out trying to establish a connection, but I chalk that up to either Twitter being down (more so back in the early days) or spotty coverage on my part. Regardless, the developer is very friendly and open to feedback, which is another big plus.

I had the original SimplyTweet and I upgraded to ST3. I like the layout, it's got everything I need, but it's still buggy!! It crashes sometimes when I go from @replies to my full timeline. I get double tweets and have to close and launch again.

I'll keep using it because I like its other features enough, but the crashing does drive me crazy.

Echofon pro is just the best for the rest of us. It's much more simplier, and syncs unread with desktop echofon app, so you won't miss any tweet.

Wow, thought I had tried every iPhone Twitter app but must have missed simply tweet (though did try all the others you listed and more.) My fave for quite awhile has been Twittelator Pro that I keep going back to even if i try another. I don't really see any different features and have not had issues requiring a reinstall for failing to reply. @Twittelator Pro has the notifications, themes, etc, pull down to refresh, search in any mode from search box atop every feed, etc. They also have an ipad version which I can't wait to try when my ipad arrives from the US. Anyway, like you said, we all have our favourite twitter clients.
