Tesla Supercharger Station in Hope Expands, Gets 4 More Stalls
Tesla announced today it has increased the capacity of its Hope, B.C., Supercharger station, adding four more stalls, bringing the total capacity to 10.
The location is at 830-840 Fraser Ave (across from the Hope Motor Motel), in Hope, a popular rest stop for travellers heading to and from the province’s interior.
According to Facebook user Brian Lutz, the Tesla Supercharger station’s newest stalls work fine, noting “all is well” (No word whether John Rambo has tried these out yet).
Tesla says their Supercharger stations “will never be a profit center.” Aside from annual credits, for users who go beyond the allotted amount, the cost for Supercharging in B.C. is as follows:
- $0.28 per minute above 60 kW
- $0.14 per minute at or below 60 kW
Just yesterday, Tesla announced its 27th Supercharger station in Canada, located at Southgate Centre’s parking level two, in Edmonton.
