I tried to add modmyifone source, but it gave me “could not able to refresh source” error. can some one pls tell me what could be the issue ? i am having iphone 1.1.4

Hi there:

I recently installed PBF Search on my iPhone. It worked great (I was using 1.1.4 with the v1.07b Search app). On the weekend, I was fiddling with ssh, and I ended up bricking my phone. I ended up putting the phone into DFU mode, and reinstalled everything using ziphone again.

I was able to do all of this, but when I reinstalled Search, it does not see any of my contacts (nor does it see any calendar entries). If I go into Contacts in my phone app, they are all there. I have tried removing and reinstalling Search a number of times.

Any recommendations on how to get the Search functionality back again? I am still using 1.1.4. the only thing I can think of is that my contacts were all resorted using iTunes’ restore function, so they weren’t put on with a direct sync to Outlook. However, I have since done an Outlook Sync, and asked it to replace all contacts during the sync, and I still don’t have a working Search function.

Does the order that apps are installed matter? I could try removing them all and reinstalling, I suppose?

I just wanted to say that I have added many ipod sources and guys, becareful! I tried to download an app from one of the lesser know sourcs and it totally ruined the ipod touch. The Ipod rebooted day and night and would not able to be fixed. I still use many of the sources but just be prepared..cheers
