Awesome. Haven't tested this yet, but this is great. I might use this to live broadcast the next tutorial I decide to do.

Two things I'm concerned about:
1) Unsigned GPRS profiles (in case Rogers decides to charge us in 2010 and we have to do a hack like those with 500mb have to do — last I heard, you can't do this with 3.1+)
2) Battery life. My friend with his 3GS gets horrible battery life still, even after going to 3.12 from 3.1. I can commute with bluetooth tethering to my laptop and my 3GS drains at about 10 to 15% per hour. I don't have any funny business going on with the phone… full push on all apps. For instance, right now I have 1h15m of usage with an additional 40m of tethering via bluetooth and 1h55m of standby (with bluetooth enabled; wifi disabled) totaling 3h50m of usage and I have 84% battery remaining. Do you get that with 3.12?

Appstore (via iPhone, not sure about iTunes) doesn't let you download it unless you have v3.1
I don't want to upgrade though…

I did a noob move, sorry folks. I donwloaded the wrong version… I should have downloaded “UStream Live Broadcaster”. I blindly downloaded Ustream Recorder.
