3RDi Kickstarter Project Turns your iPhone into a High End Camera

Night Vision Studios has launched a Kickstarter project which will turn your iPhone into a high end camera called The 3RDi Kit.

The 3RDi promises to be a complete high end kit for the iPhone 4/4s. The kit includes a Wide-angle lens, Fisheye lens, Circular Polarizer filter, ND filter, Lens Grip, iPhone case and Flip cover/Screen protector.

Night Vision Studios aren’t the first to bring a camera kit to the iPhone but it definitely is one of the more full featured ones. The 3RDi kit was designed with the goal of ensuring your iPhone stays a phone. The 3RDi attachments fit to the provided case. This ensures you won’t need to fiddle with lenses when the need arises to take a picture.

Night Vision Studios was founded by Ethan Knight. Mr. Knight is an International documentary filmmaker and commercial photographer with over ten years experience.

The iPhone case and Lens Grip have been produced in a 3D Rapid prototype system using ABS plastic material. The 3RDi is one of the only iPhone camera kits which boasts a unique multi-glass element design, producing stunning image quality and highest edge-to-edge sharpness. In addition, we’ve also sourced possible manufacturers for each of the 3RDi components.
