Air Canada updated their iOS app yesterday with a minor update, to now allow users to book hotels for their travels right within the app during the end of the ticket buying process. The app also received some minor enhancements and bug fixes, plus now adds a way to unsubscribe contacts from SMS notifications within the app. The full change log is below:

HOTELS
– You can now book hotels for your trip, directly within the app. When completing your booking, just press on the “Search Hotels” button from your Confirmation Page to conveniently find a hotel near your destination, or access the new “Hotels” option from the “More” tab.MISCELLANEOUS ENHANCEMENTS AND FIXES
– Fixed an issue with multi-segment flights that were added incorrectly to ‘Flights’ after completing Mobile Check-In.
– Additional contacts added to SMS Flight Notifications can now unsubscribe directly within the app, or by selecting the ‘Flight Notification’ option from http://m.aircanada.ca.
During this summer the Air Canada app received an update to auto display Passbook boarding passes after check-in. The company recently announced they would support Apple and IBM’s new enterprise apps, which includes a couple made specifically for airline pilots and onboard staff.
